I never registered this domain!!!! Please cancel it

Please cancel the domain you gave me. I never registered or confirmed this domain yet you sent me an email confirming my domain was complete???? I’m slightly confused.
Because of this mistake I am now unable to proceed with creating a new domain with my username which is costaspsarros.
Why and how could this happen? Please assist me so that I can continue with the domain and username I would like.

The top level domain here is wordpress.com and all blogs hosted here are on .wordpress.com sub-domains.
In order to map to a domain one must have an underlying .wordpress.com subdomain blog to map from, and the domain name you desire must be available for purchase, or you must already own the domain URL.
You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard at > Store > My Upgrades to purchase upgrades for the blog.

After you do the primary blog set up it can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What’s important during that stage is to be patient.

It can be registered by the matching username account https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/costaspsarrosWhen we register a username account the matching blog is reserved for our future use. It cannot be obtained by anyone other than the person who has registered the matching username account.
If and only if you have that username account then the blog is reserved for you and you will be able to log in appropriately and register it after logging in under the correct username account. However, if you changed your username then the blog URL will not be available for use under the new username account.

Yes but that still doesn’t answer why wordpress confirmed this domain for me in the first place??? I really can’t understand why they did this…it’s caused me aggravation and delayed me immensely with wanting to start up a site. Seriously not impressed. If I’m unable to cancel this and start again I will move to another site who can do this for me professionally and efficiently.

All I want to do is cancel my domain. How do I do this? I’m very computer illiterate and really struggling. Why was this confirmed in the first place?

I never asked or confirmed this please cancel it. I’m becoming impatient at this stage.

…and as i said in my newly posted similar topic, if WordPress does not let people to delete the account and they do not delete it either, this is agains the law ! We have rights to ask website owners, server management (WP) to delete all data from public AND from the database too ! So, as we have at least our email in our account and a wordpress account does not work without email address, we have the right to delete it immediately ! If not, i will go further to find my rights with authorities !

All I need to to know is:
1. Why did wordpress confirm this domain for me when I never asked them to?
2. Why can’t I cancel it?
3. Why is there no customer support who understands what I’m asking?
4. I am now unable to use my username as it’s been attached to the domain I don’t want or confirmed.
5. I want to start a new domain with my username and I can’t.Don’t they understand how frustrating this is? How on earth did they get my email address? I never ever confirmed or sent them anything….this is bizarre. I really need someone to help me at least change my domain name to something I want but keep my username.
This is there mistake so they need to rectify this.

I have been sent an email saying my domain of ‘tablesaltdotco.wordpress’ is now mine. Why?
I never pressed any button/link to confirm anything. How did they get my email?
I never registered this link or had even heard of it. I’ve never used wordpress so how did they get my email? I just don’t understand it. Why can’t I cancel this?
All I want to do and at this point is keep my username and change my domain name to something else. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Had I known this was going to be so complicated or that wordpress would take the liberty to email and confirm something I never registered for I would never have bothered.

You can create as many sites as you’d like with your username costaspsarros. While logged in to your account, you can go to the signup page here to create a new site at a new address:
https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/
You can also create a new site from your My Sites page.
If you don’t want the site at http://tablesaltdotco.wordpress.com/ at all, you’re welcome to permanently delete it.
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help you with that process.
