  I never wanted this wordpress.com blog; I was trying to connect my own domain and accidently created this one. How do I get rid of it with out affecting my original wordpress.org website (my own website and domain) and continue on with connecting my site. I know I have to change my name servers and all that…i just want to get rid of this blog

  Deleting a WPcom site does not affect a site you host elsewhere using the WP software. In order to delete a WPcom site, follow this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  and continue on with connecting my site.

  What is it exactly you are trying to connect?

  If you are trying to connect your custom domain with a WPcom site, you need three things:
  1. a custom domain name you purchased elsewhere (like g*******.com)
  2. a free WPcom website you registered here (like the one you say you want to delete)
  3. a paid WPcom upgrade plan for that WPcom website which then allows you to map your domain to your WPcom site. That way your content appears at your custom domain address and not at your .wordpress.com address.
