I no longer see automatic links popping up when I’m ready to post my blog

Add topic to favorites
I really liked the way that WP would show possible links to various words in my daily blog. I don’t think that I’ve changed my settings .. but .. I don’t see these choices available to me anymore. Previously, if I mentioned “Yorkshire tea” … then there would be a pop-up menu to choose from, so that a link would show in the blog. I no longer have these choices and wonder how I can have them again? thanks, a.m.

Are you using thw Visual editor? I’m asking because it’s only in the Visual editor when we are creating a link and we click the link icon that the pop-up appears.

Hi … yes, am using visual .. the last day that the blog showed some automatic links was jan 21 .. for Yorkshire tea .. I’ve just gone there and there aren’t any choices showing on the edit page. Yet Yorkshire is still linked. I haven’t changed anything in my setup (I don’t believe). thanks, a.m.

Perhaps what you mean is “possibly related posts”. If so you can disable them here > Appearance > Extras
__ Hide related links on this blog, which means this blog won’t show up on other blogs or get traffic that way
