Your account shows you recently cancelled the dispute for a payment to WordPress.com. If you no longer need the domain (thediaryofadesigner.com) or plan I can issue a refund.
Just so you are aware, once a domain has been cancelled there is no guarantee you will be able to get it back. We only recommend cancelling a domain if you are sure you won’t need it again in the future.

Hello @gemmacevens! I have bought my domain (thediaryofadesigner.com) from a hosting site but it is still connected to wordpress.com. I am try to generate a website on wordpress.org. So if you were to cancel it, will it be okay as it is now connected to a hosting website?

The domain thediaryofadesigner.com is currently registered through WordPress.com.

Cancelling thediaryofadesigner.com here will mean you no longer own it. The domain would need to be released before you can try to purchase it again elsewhere. This option is a little risky because there is no guarantee you will be the first to register it again.
If you want to use the domain on a WordPress.org site, I’d recommend transferring it to another registrar (or your hosting provider) instead:

This will ensure the domain remains in your ownership.
If you like the sound of this option, the domain can be restored to your site and transferred. I can also refund the cost of the plan (£85) minus the domain cost (£15).

This is the message that pops up clicking in my domain
“Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.”
No sure if my actual upgrade payment went through. If so I can pay for my domain (thediaryofadesigner.com) alone and then transfer it over?

I can’t seem to see the options given on the link you provided to transfer it to another register.
The domain hadn’t been restored when I sent my last reply as I needed to know whether you wanted to transfer the domain or cancel it. I have now restored it to your site so you should see the option to transfer.
I’ve also refunded £70 and there is a copy of the refund receipt in your Billing History:

Refunds usually take 7-14 business to show on your statement, although international refunds (outside the US) can take a little longer.
No sure if my actual upgrade payment went through.
We haven’t received any payments. However, there is no need to purchase any other upgrades as you have already paid for the domain :)

My domain has now been transferred to go daddy but somehow still connected to wordpress.com. Will you happen to know how I can now transfer it to wordpress.org instead off .com ? I have a different hosting website for it also.

thediaryofadesigner.com has been successfully transferred but the name servers are still pointing to WordPress.com. GoDaddy has some support documentation about updating the name servers from your account there:
