I notice some phishy activity

  I see some fishy activity going on with my page. Such as:
  a sudden increase of followers with really long indecipherable email addresses that end in .outlook.com

  A jumpy screen when creating a new post.

  A sudden internet update from Apple every time I close out of my blog.

  Do I notify someone to try to remove virus activity from my blog? Is this taken care of automatically? I’m curious to see if there is something I should do.

  I am seeing the exact same thing with these strange signups on my site. Long senseless names with .outlook at the end. I hope we get an answer from support via your question.

  I am getting the same weird “Outlook” followers also… up to more than a half dozen by now. The first notification came at about 11 pm Eastern time last night (1/16/17) with several more throughout this morning.

  Have not tried to create any new posts today so cannot speak to that.

  I am interested in the answer to this also.

  Hello,
  I’m so happy to come across this forum because I have been receiving the same email notifications, several “followers” with long emails ending in outlook, starting Friday, January 13, 2018. However, those addresses don’t show up in my WordPress notifications as followers. When I check my site it seems to look ok, but I am curious and concerned. Please if someone could help those affected, that would be much appreciated!
