Hi, I started a free wordpress blog site and I was wondering if I was to buy the domai name and upgrade to a .com then can I have links on my advertisements/advertise at all other then for wordpress? I have to make something off my site, I am not doing this for fun, I broke my neck and cannot work any of my former occupations. I couldn’t see why I wouldn’t if I own the site.

No. Blogger-initiated advertising is banned here. Owning a domain name doesn’t exempt you from the terms of service here.

Well Mr.Speaks so much o infinate knowledge, If this is the case why is it that when I type a post, wordpress put’s in automatic links to my words and my posts to where ever they go? and If i buy a domain I can do with it as I please, I own it. By rights. Just like ebay, like cnn, like Jay-z, and Bloomberg. Where are you getting your information from? I own 12-15 domains.

It is not Blogger intiated advertising anyways. it is a static home page with information links.

You don’t ‘own’ anything here. You are granted a conditional use permit more or less. You comply with WP terms and conditions or you get booted.
You never ‘own’ a domain name. You register a domain name for a specified period, usually a year. It’s more like a rental or a lease.
If you want to run ads, you need to buy hosting from somewhere else. But then you’ll still have to comply with that host’s terms and conditions.

Blogger-initiated advertising is banned here. If you like, you can list all your URLs and I will tell you if they are violating the rules or not. If they are hosted here and have blogger-initiated advertising, they are subject to suspension.
I really don’t know what you’re gibbering about with automatic links. WordPress does not do that.

I already stated that there is no blogger initiated advertising, There is a static home page and the only “blogger iniated advertising is taking place from wordpress into my post with their links. Where are you getting your information from and I have a hosting company. I suggest you do not contact me again. You are a dribble of empty space, time and air.

http://edietcommunity.wordpress.com/ is a blog hosted at WordPress.com. If you put ads or affiliate links on it, it will be suspended. Try it and see.
