    All I wanted was to place my picture in the Avatar field on another website. Now, here I am signed up for a complicated site like WordPress, and what is apparently my homepage or dashboard here, has a seemingly endless, long list of sites you folks are recommending to me.

    All you are doing is complicating my life. I am totally *NOT* interested. I stopped messing with Pinterest and Facebook 3½ years ago, and I am no longer indulging in the insanity of social media.

    Please show me how to remove the list of suggested sites in your universe, that you want me to investigate or sign up for.

    Nothing is simple anymore. I am a disabled, 79 year old, senior lady, and I am trying to simplify and minimize my life.

    Please allow me to do so.

    The sites that appear in your Reader are just suggestions for you to have a look. You are in no way obliged to interact with those. The Reader is a feature that can not be removed from your account but, as mentioned, you can simply ignore it.
