I OWN a Domain But Cant Make WordPress Site Due To Someone Else

    hello i recently purchased a domain outside wordpress and came to wordpress to make my site since its going to be half a blog and what better place but when i tried registering it said it was taken. i went to see the page and it looks like an unactive page.
    i own the domain and would like to have the name so i can use wordpress has my hosting platform.
    can you contact the concerned user to change is name since is page is not being used and give me the posibility to use the domain i purchased.
    If this cannot be done, trust me i don’t want this option, i will need to get else were and then file the necessary things to have the page closed and get my rights to the domain respected.
    if you can close it yourself this could avoid many issues. again this page doesn’t seem to be used.

    i own keepunreal.com and want to turn this domain into a website.

    P.S: tried getting in touch myself with user with no luck.

    WordPress.COM is the top level domain here. All WordPress.COM blogs are on .wordpress.com sub-domains. And, it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com sub-domain URL is when you are domain mapping. To map an existing domain (one you already own) to your WordPress.com blog see here http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

    There is no expiration date on .wordpress.com blogs unused, reserved or otherwise. If you can make contact on your own with the owner of an unused blog via a contact form or commenting, then providing the are agreeable there is a means of a consenting blog owner to transfer the blog to another username account. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account

    In the case that there is no contact information Staff will not breach the privacy policy and provide you with an email address.

    Domain mapping covers up the base name of the blog – so having keepunreal.wordpress.com is not a requirement since your visitors will see keepunreal.com when they visit not keepunreal.wordpress.com – so just register something like keepunreal2.wordpress.com as a blog here and map your domain name to it

    while I am not the staff – your chance of doing anything to keepunreal.wordpress.com with a pile of lawyers are slim to none based on what I have seen in the past
