  I own and pay for monthly hosting for my blog lorieannj.com and I do not have Word Press Admin permissions. Can you please tell me why? Also, I own (email visible only to moderators and staff) and I do not have WPress admin permissions. I created both accounts and lorieannj.com is hosted with Host Gator. I can get into my account when I log, but I do not have Word PRess Admin credentials, please help me figure out what is happening!
  HEre is the error message that I get whenever I try to use my Word Press account for lorieannj.com. Please help me get my admin permissions for using Word PRess!

  lorieannj.com is a wordpress.ORG software install on paid hosting, hosted by Unified Layer, not by wordpress.COM
  Name Servers:
  ns2779.hostgator.com
  ns2780.hostgator.com

  We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites as they are the only ones on our servers. That site is not on our servers and you are posting to the wrong support forum to get support for it.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  Our support docs do not apply to
  (1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
  (2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.
  (3) sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.
