I paid $9.97 to map my domain to my wordpress.com site… images not showing up
-
I used bought http://www.kelocity.com from Godaddy.com a few years back. I also had hosting on them for years. Yesterday, I paid the $9.97 to map my domain to my wordpress account (used to be notfirstbutlast.wordpress.com). So far, the domain mapping is working great… but all my images that used to show up, are no longer there. Can I not use my godaddy for hosting anymore? Do I have to manually go in and upload each image into wordpress.com?
Also, for the $9.97 a year I paid with WordPress, does that include hosting? How much space do you get?

The images that are missing were uploaded to http://www.kelocity.com/ . Once you map the domain name to the blog here, those images are no longer accessible since the domain name is pointing to wordpress.COM.
You need to transfer those images over to your wordpress.COM media library and then correct the URL’s in the posts.

Awe, I was hoping there was an easier solution. Thanks. So I no longer will need my Godaddy.com hosting, right?
How much space does WordPress let you store? Is there a limit?
-
That is correct, the godaddy hosting account is no longer needed, just the domain name.
WordPress gives you 3GB of space for free, and that is a lot of images. If you happen to need more, there are space upgrades: http://en.support.wordpress.com/space-upgrade/ .
