I paid for a site through wordpress, but can't add in plugins

If I have to I’ll move everything across to one of the partners, but is there something to do before action this to make plugins available on my wordpress.com site? It seems odd that i can pay to have a non-wordpress named site (which i have done), but still not be able to add plugins!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sorry end of the night and thought I would add in this post to avoid confusion.
I’m trying to add a premium map plugin to my wordpress.com site. As I’m using wordpress.com rather than .org there is not a plugin option on the dashboard. I’m wondering whether I’m doing something wrong? I’m paying wordpress an annual fee for my own site address and figured that should mean I have the enhanced features?
If not I’ll migrate to a partner to get around the issue.

Hello there! You do receive many advanced features with the Premium upgrade as listed here:
    http://store.wordpress.com/plans/premium/

However, no matter what your upgrade, third party plugins cannot be installed on WordPress.com sites. This is a security risk as we cannot vet all outside code and it puts our users, their sites, and our servers at risk.

Sometimes it possible, using our widgets, or shortcodes, to gain you the functionality you were hoping to achieve with your plugin. If you tell me what type of plugin you wanted, I can let you know if it’s possible with your WordPress.com tools.

If you decide you must use plugins, a self-hosted site via WordPress.org is the way to go. If you choose this option, please read this guide which will step you through the process of moving your site to a WordPress.org instance:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-to-wordpress-org

As we only support sites hosted here at WordPress.com, all issues with the new site – including the importing of the file – must be taken to the WordPress.org support community:

If you’d like assistance moving your WordPress.com site to WordPress.org, we have a service called Guided Transfer that does all the work for you. Check it out to see if it’s right for you:

If I can help further, please let me know and I’m happy to help. All the best.
