I just paid $60.00 for Video Press. I uploaded a video from my computer with a mov extension, but I get an error message that the file is not allowed. I don’t want to put this video on Youtube and then upload the link in my blog, I want to keep it kind of private among my readers only. What do I do? I thought by paying Video Press, I could uploaded any video I like in my blog. Please advice, thank you,
    Valentina

  • Sorry for the trouble!

.mov is technically a file container, not a video format, so it could contain anything, which is why we can’t allow it.

Instead, open the video in QuickTime player, and choose FIle -> Export to -> Web. Just check the “Broadband” box, as that will give you the highest quality export. Then, upload the exported file.
