I prefer classic editor for writing, I would like to get rid of block editor.

When I write a new post, it automatically takes me to the block editor. I type a bit, and then save the draft, and then go back to “edit” it, so that it will ask me if I want to use classic editor. I would like for the classic editor to be my default. Is there any way to do this? I don’t prefer to use block editor.

Because we are retiring the classic editor, we instead recommend the classic block, which is a block you can add to “insert” the classic editor inside of the newer block editor, and has the familiar formatting tools you are used to: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/classic-block/

Ok, so to get what I used to have, I have to make several clicks and find it, and add it? In every single new post?
