I pressed 'leave' nicholscanyoncoop.wordpress.com and want this address

  I wanted to change the address of my primary blog, Nichols Canyon Co-op currently at ringsofsusan@wordpress to nicholscanyoncoop@wordpress, and when I was in nicholscanyoncoop@wordpress I pressed ‘leave this blog’. I knew I did not want to delete that address, as it is mine. But now when I try to change the address of Nichols Canyon Co-op from ringsofsusan@wordpress to nicholscanyoncoop@wordpress I keep getting the message that the address is already taken. By me? even though I left it? Or by leaving it did I remove my ability to use it? signed, so confused and in need of more help.~susan

  Unfortunately, a blog’s address cannot be changed to an existing blog address, but you can transfer your content following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-between-wordpress-com-blogs
