I put in a domain cancellation request and it wasn't processed

I put in a domain cancellation request within an hour of my purchase, and it was not processed within the 48 hour window. I am now getting this message:
Domain products can be refunded only within 48 hours of original purchase. This product was purchased 2 days ago and so is not eligible.
The problem is, I put in a request within that window. My request was not processed in a timely manner. I am now being penalized for this. This is extremely frustrating and frankly very unprofessional. There is no way to contact WordPress which makes this even more frustrating. The only “support” offered is this forum, and I put in for help yesterday and still haven’t received any.
How can I go about getting my domain cancelled and my refund?
