I put in the wrong email address

I was trying to set up a new website and accidentally mistyped my email address. The confirmation (twice) went to someone who is not me but has a similar address to mine. I hope he or she will not confirm and then maybe it will go back to me, but it worries me that a stranger is now getting an invite to the wordpress page I am trying to set up. What can I do?

Updating your email address is pretty easy to sort out, and can be sorted by entering a correct one in your Account Settings .
Once you’ve entered the correct email address and clicked “Save Account Settings,” you’ll receive an email at the new address with a confirmation link. You must click the confirmation link to confirm the change and update the email on your account.
