Hi. We can’t help you if we don’t know what you want. Could you be specific, please? What do you want to change on your blog and how?
-
I know this is not my thread, but while you’re here, airodyssey….
I posted today on rkpowersphoto and at the top of the post it says “Comments off”.
I have no idea how that happened or how I get comments back on. can you tell me? -
Hey you guys seem like very knowledgable people. I have created a link to a specific place on a page. It has worked but now the text I have made the link to not the actual link has also acting like a link. So its has changed colour and when you hover over it it changes colour again. How do I stop this.

Are you guys talking to a ghost? lol
thethingsineveroldyou.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this blog.I don’t know why so many people do create a blog, ask a question and then delete the blog forever.
@Runningnorth2north
If you want to ask any support question post here. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/support#postform -
Partly because of the new way domains are offered to people; I’d say a good third of the people coming here made a mistake on signup, deleted the blog, and started over with a new one.

-
@runningnorth2south: Also be specific please. Are you expecting us to search your whole blog to find the page in question?
@thethings: See airodyssey’s initial reply.

all i want to know is how to add a picture, little things like that.. move things around (if it can be done) or.. what do you guys think i should do with the blog? :)
-
Read this, it’s the starting point for WP blogs:
Once you’ve read it and tried out what it says with a few practice posts, just get started blogging. The #1 mistake beginners make is they hesitate too long, making sure the periods are perfectly round, the i’s all dotted with the perfect custom image instead of a dot, etc, etc, when they should just BLOG.
-
ive been reading through it.. im not the best person for computers so dont really know what to do but ill just stumble my way around and try and work it out! :) and the first thing i did was blog :)
-
-
where ever i can add a picture!? preferably at the top of the page under the main title.
cant the fonts be changed (the title and the blogs i do?) even though ive not paid for the blog? I tried this and it didn’t work
-
Stumbling your way around is how you figure things out.
I do teach people one on one, but I charge a fair bit of money for it.
Sounds like what you need to do is blog. Again. And then blog again, adding an image. And then blog again, adding a YouTube. And then blog again, adding an Audio player. And so on.
And when you have a specific issue or problem, come back to the forums, do a search to see if someone else already asked and received the answer, and if not, then ask the question.
“I don’t know what to do, give me a brain dump” is not going to get you anything useful.

wow.. well thanks for the help people..
dont know who you are or where you are but you lot can be pretty intimidating!!!!! only trying to work things out..

Take a look at our blogs: you can add a picture anywhere in your posts. Follow the instructions here:
You can change the fonts, one paragraph at a time, by hand-coding the changes in the span tag, but we don’t advise it. Some guy changed all his blog paragraph by paragraph to black, all hand-coded, and then switched to a theme with a black background and his text became invisible.
But if you want, here are the instructions:
-
a) You upload a header image in Appearance > Header. for best results, the image should be in the exact pixel dimensions the theme specifies.
b) You can’t change the font of the titles without the paid Custom Design upgrade. You can change the font of the main text of your posts as explained here:
-
You’ve also chosen pretty much the most complicated theme here. You can add an image as a custom header, custom background, all kinds of options. You might want to start with something simpler, like Twenty Eleven.
