I redirected my blog to thephotomaker.net, paid $13.00, the redirect doesnt work

  I added a new domain name to redirect and paid $13.00, when I type in the address the photomaker.net it does not take me to my blog.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  It looks like the domain name photomaker.net was registered on January 5, 2007. If you registered the domain then, you’ll need to change your nameservers to the following:
  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  If you did not purchase the domain then, I’m afraid that it’s unavailable for use. You’ll need to pick another domain name to use with your blog. If you didn’t register the domain, let me know, and I’ll go ahead and add the domain credit back to your account so that you can register another domain name for free.

  I did purchase thephotomaker.net which is not photomaker.com which is the one you said was taken in 2007.
  How do you change nameserver? What does this mean?

  Hi there,

  If you purchased the photomaker.net domain in 2007 when it was registered, then you can update the name servers through your domain registrar. It looks like the registrar for this domain was Enom.

  If you did not register the domain back in 2007 then I’m afraid you cannot purchase this domain as it is already owned by another person. Just let me know if that is the case and I will credit your account so you can choose a new domain.

  No I purchased the name a few days ago from NetworkSolutions. So I cannot use the name thephotomaker.net to redirect dalesparage.wordpress.com?

  You should check with NetworkSolutions about that. If they sold it to you they should be able to tell you how to update the Name Servers to point to WordPress.com.

  I contacted NetworkSolutions they need my IP address to redirect, what exactly is my IP address?

  Hi there,

  You don’t need an IP address to map to the WordPress.com name servers.

  It looks like you can update the nameservers for your Network Solutions domain yourself:

  http://www.networksolutions.com/support/move-dns-to-a-new-server/

  We have more detailed instructions about mapping your domain to your WordPress.com blog at:
