I registered two domain names on the same account.

  I think there is a conflict between the 2 domain names and my one account. I cannot access the footroots.com website. The domain names are mockwpsite and footroots. My e-mail is (email visible only to moderators and staff). Thanks for your help!

  Hi there,

  Your site footroots.com appears to be hosted by GoDaddy, so I think you need to contact them about this.

  Your WordPress.com account does not currently have any sites connected to it. Yo used to own the site, https://mockwpsite.wordpress.com/, but you have since deleted it. Deleted sites cannot be recovered.

  I discovered my footroots.com was not connected to the Hostgator.com nameserver. It appears things are on the way to completion. I am very much a novice. Are there any tutorials or books that will help me get up to speed?

  I’ve never read it myself, but I’ve heard that WordPress for Dummies is a very good resource for self-hosted WordPress site owners. You can also check out wpbeginner.com. It’s one of the best tutorial sites for self-hosted WordPress.
