I release domain and disappear shared in social networks
Good evening;
I have bought this morning my new domain.
The domain has got up-to-date but I have lost the visible numbers of shared of the social networks that I have in my blog, (facebook, twitter and linkedin).
I have had to change my primary direction to the former activatuneurona.wordpress.com in order that the shared ones could be seen.
What does happen? If I use my domain http://www.activatuneurona.com, do I lose all my shared ones? Do book-keepers initiate?I need your help to solve this problem as soon as possible, since if my book-keepers disappear, I am not interested in having a low domain wordpress and I will annul it.
Thank you very much.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
First, I noticed you have submitted multiple requests for support. To keep our conversation organized, I’m going to respond to your questions here and close the other requests. Please keep all further correspondence in this thread.
It looks like you recently cancelled and refunded your domain. Is that correct? Your social shares on your posts should not reset to zero once you update your domain. Would you be willing to set this up again so I can help troubleshoot?

Hi Jeremey
Thank you very much for your response.
Of course I be willing to set up if we don´t lose the numbersYou can see an example here: http://activatuneurona.wordpress.com/2014/04/02/activamos-la-xxx-edicion-del-carnaval-de-biologia/
Facebook lose the numbers and the rest of the social networks do the same, when we choose the new name (the domain name without wordpress.com) as our primary name.
Please help us!
J.

Hi J,
The social stats shouldn’t be related to the change of your domain. To load the number of shares for each service, we ping the social network and “ask” how many times that post has been shared. The social network returns the number and we display it next to the icon. Occasionally, this process gets interrupted, which yields no sharing numbers being returned. However, since the Twitter and LinkedIn numbers have returned, I believe this is just an error with Facebook that should resolve itself shortly. Can you try setting up your domain again and see if the problem resurfaces (i.e. the Twitter/LinkedIn numbers disappear)?

Hi Jeremey
Thanks again.
The numbers have become. It is possible that this is an error. At the moment I do not try to take back the domain, because I need to change my PC. I’ll try next week.
Thanks a lot.

Hi!
It looks like the Facebook numbers have indeed returned. Please let me know when you want to set your domain back up, and I’ll be happy to troubleshoot if this issue occurs again.
