I renamed my blog, creating a new URL. Where did my posts go?!

I renamed the blog (a new one) from craftycafe4readers.wordpress.com/ to thecrafter’scafe. I had to fix the theme – which disappeared, and am working on all the settings for the side bar. But I don’t know how to get the first two posts (8.22 and 8.23) back! As I said, this a new blog which I began 8.22 under the aegis of my readerwoman name. Please help, those two posts were important to me!

Okay. If I type the url in, (http://www.thecraftycafe.wordpress.com/) without going via my dashboard, I get the FORMER address (craftycafe!) and then I see them, but NOT the one I just posted (called Projects in Progress or something like that!) Do I need to totally delete the former blog to get them all to show up? I don’t consider myself a wordsmith idiot – I have used it for some time, but I have never changed a url before and this is really driving me crazy!

OH, and when I go to “read the blog” via the blog link at the top, I go to the right page and title, which has today’s blog on it, but the sidebar is not right. Sigh

http://thecraftycafe.wordpress.com/ is an old deleted blog. I assume you’re referring to http://thecrafterscafe.wordpress.com/
You have another blog at http://craftycafe4readers.wordpress.com/ (the one that you changed the name on). Since you chose not to delete it, this blog still exists, and it looks like you published your most recent post there by accident.
