I renewed but its not changing

  I renewed my site but its still showing I did not. Even after I cleared my cache and cookies. It should also be showing as jalapenogalswayofliving.com but that wont even pull up. Please help!! Ive put a lot of time and material into my site and do not want to lose it all.

  Ok I see that my original domain name was auctioned off so I can no longer use it according to the chat lady I spoke with. So in light of learning this I created a new domain name, cookingwithjalapenogal.com. I have also made that my primary domain however, anytime I try to view my website it says ” Oops your domain has expired, renew now.” Ive cleared my caches and even uninstalled my browser and reinstalled. Ive checked from IE, Chrome and Firefox and all three say its expired and wont show my website. What do I need to do?

  I Love You!!! Thank you so much!! :) One more question. Since I had to change my domain name do i have to go back in any previous articles i have published elsewhere and change the domain name? Or will it redirect?

  • If you have placed any links to your site elsewhere that contained the domain, jalapenogalswayofliving.com, you will have to adjust the link. Because jalapenogalswayofliving.com isn’t connected to your account any longer, no links to it will bring your visitors to your site.
  • If a link began with the WordPress.com URL, jalapenogalswayoflivingdotcom.wordpress.com, then you do NOT have to change it. Those links will bring your visitors to your WordPress.com site, although they will now see cookingwithjalapenogal.com in the address bar.
