I reserved my own url

    Hi there, I accidentally reserved my own url name. I was trying to change my current blog url from alicedayblog.wordpress.com to alicedaylight.wordpress.com. At the time it was available so I began to register a new account and url under the name alicedaylight however I closed the webpage before I was able to do so and now I cannot access that url (alicedaylight) anymore. What should I do?

    The issue here is that the alicedaylight username was used in the past. Since you changed from that username, though, the old username was deleted; there are warnings about this in the username change process.

    Unfortunately this also means the site name cannot be registered. It’s a known shortcoming of the current setup and not something we can work around manually.

    Sorry to be the bearer of bad news here but, for now, there’s no way to register alicedaylight.wordpress.com.
