I screw up changing URL…
-
Hi all,
Yesterday, I only did some homework online and saw I might be able to change the URL easily and I did it… now, I can’t even log into the account shared with my cofounder.
I saw that I might be able to use phpMyAdmin through Bluehost, but I have no idea what I should do to solve the problem and get the original website back.
——
Original website: https://aquclear.com
Changed to: https://aquaclear.com.tw
——Thank you all in advance.

Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your website. However, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Bluehost.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
WordPress.org has complete documentation for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at https://wordpress.org/support/ and support at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
With that said, they do have some options for you at https://wordpress.org/support/article/changing-the-site-url/

Hello,
Thank you for your prompt response. I tried to log into WordPress.org using my account for the website, but it says the account is not even existing, so I would assume that I establish the website on wordpress.com (because we actually paid for that).

WordPress.org is entirely separate from WordPress.com and how you log in to your site.
If you’ve never asked for support there, you’ll need to register for a new account first.
so I would assume that I establish the website on wordpress.com (because we actually paid for that).
We have absolutely history of purchases, transactions, or billing activity of any kind under the account you’re currently logged into.
The site is hosted with Bluehost, so I suspect you paid them for hosting, and the WordPress.org software is free.

Sorry for the confusion. The account I am logging in to is my personal account, but the account created the website (aquclear.com or aquaclear.com.tw) is “willy……” this is the one I believe on wordpress.com.
I might have to make sure with my cofounder but I did know that I logged into WordPress.com yesterday with the “Willy…” account.

We have no record of either domain ever being registered or hosted here at WordPress.com.
As mentioned, the site is hosted with Bluehost and using the WordPress software from WordPress.org.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can find more information here about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
https://wordpress.org/support/ is a great resource for sites using the open source WordPress.org software, and you can find support for that at: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
Your hosting provider’s support team may also be able to assist.
