I see duplicated home page

    Hi,
    I see multiple copies of the home page of my website. How do I delete the extra copies?

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

    Hello hello!

    May I ask what your website’s address/URL is? The clarification would be appreciated, as these forums are for websites hosted with WordPress.com only.

    If the website is hosted elsewhere and built with the open-source WordPress.org software, you’ll want to seek assistance at their forums here:

    On a personal note, have you tried this?:

    1. Access Dashboard
    2. Select “Pages” (a few items below “My Home”)
    3. Find the duplicate copies of your homepage (under “Published” or “Draft”)
    4. Click the dots on the right side to open a menu

    5a. (Optional) Select “View page” to make sure you’re deleting the right page

    5b. Select “Trash”

    Note: if you delete the wrong page, it will simply appear under this page’s “Trash” tab.
    Also, mistakenly deleting the actual homepage is made less likely as there is a “Homepage” tag next to the time stamp, and the “Trash” option won’t be available in the menu to begin with.
