I see lots of auto-generated blavatars on here…

  Anyway, I see a lot of auto-generated graphics instead of blavatars. But the thing is, I have uploaded a blavatar in the shape of a woman on a coin. It’s been 2 months. Is there something wrong with the picture I uploaded? I am a graphics artist. Or is it a matter of waiting “a couple of months” for it to take effect?

  Please explain.

  First, the image that appears here next to your posts, and in comments on blogs, is an avatar. A blavatar is a blog avatar (known on the web as a favicon) that appears in the tabs in your browser and in the browser address bar next to your blog URL.

  Blavatars are uploaded at settings > general.

  Avatars are uploaded at users > your profile.

  My mistake. Not blavatar, the blavatar works.

  Says gravatar in users/my profile. But you’re right, of course. Took 20 minutes or so, but it displays. Thanks :)
