I see the 'what' but I can't find the 'how' in the demo.

I am trying to add pictures with text. I ‘accidently’ got one correct, but can not get it done again.
I also chose ’tiled gallery’ but they just come out one under the other.
I am not IT savvy, so please tell me in everyday language.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This is the blog that I am talking about.I made this blog so that I could learn how to do the project bit within the blog. Then I will delete this site and use my knowledge on ‘notjustwriting’. Now I am asking myself whether I am doing the right thing. E.g. You mention CSS. I can’t find out what those letters stand for nor what they would do to the site.
I will work with what I have received and then I will get back to you with any further difficulties.
