I seem to be running in to an issue.

  Whenever I try to change a layout or make other changes in my site a blank page comes up that says ‘The editor has encountered an unexpected error.’ and I can’t change anything. Why does this keep happening?

  On what site are you working?

  Please check if clearing your browser cache makes any difference, and if you’re using any browser add-ons, try disabling those.

  If that makes no difference, see if logging in with incognito mode or using a different browser helps at all
