  Each time I try to write a new post, I get sent to another page. This is my URL https://mhsusannematthews.wordpress.com/ Can you explain what has happened?

  Hi there – Could you give us a brief step by step on how you try to start a new post and when it ends up sending you to another page?

  Be sure to include links if you can, especially to that page it sends you to. Also, does it always send you to the same page, or is it a different page every time you try to write a new post?

  Lastly, what computer and web browser are you using?

  Hello and thanks for offering to help. This is the URL I’ve been using since I started blogging in 2013, I think. . https://mhsusannematthews.wordpress.com/ Last week, for some reason, the site needed me to login. Needless to say, I had no idea what my password was so I requested a reset. Now, this is the strangest part. When I click on my URL, the blog comes up just as always, but I can’t edit the page, however this morning it posted my scheduled post for today. When I want to write a new post, I click on the WRITE icon in the upper right corner, but instead of opening my site, it sends me here. https://wordpress.com/post/livingthedream941447545.wordpress.com It always sends to the same page. I’ve tried going in by clicking on the MY SITE icon on the left, but the same thing happens.

  My computer is a DELL Optiplex7010 and I use the Google Chrome browser.

  I would be grateful for whatever help you can provide.

  So how do I get back to the site I want? which is this one. https://mhsusannematthews.wordpress.com/ I never bought anything and I don’t have any of the other information they ask for on the recover my site page.

  You’ll need to first log out of WordPress.com, then log back in under the correct account (which is not the account you’re currently logged in as).
