I set up my site and would like to add to it but I cant see it, what do now?

Hi I set up my site and want to build on it but cant see it when I go to View Site..
I think I published it but cat find it anywhere, will I need to start again?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Is the blog you’ve setup https://hmseblog.wordpress.com/?
When I visit it via browser, I can see your website properly. You can start building on it by logging into WP Admin area with your WordPress.com details:
https://hmseblog.wordpress.com/wp-admin
And when you go to View Site, you should see your blog properly. Please let me know how it goes. Cheers :)

Yup, I can see hmseblog.wordpress.com normally via browser. Could you try using another browser and also another computer or your mobile? Are you able to log into the WP Admin area like I described above?

Ah I have got something on google chrome, but not whats in the preview, I probably havent published this then.. how do this? can seem to locate the Publish button

OH Dear..Im really getting in a mess here, Im probably doing something fundamentally wrong.
I cant even locate any of the pages on your instructions! Maybe i’m baffled by the terminology..In fact therte are so many instructions I dont know where to start!
What Im doing is My Site,> Blog Posts then below the image and text I go to Edit and everything is there Images text the lot, I have pressed update and preview and it looks great but I just cant to get this to go publish an go online.. -

From what you wrote, I can see that you are using WordPress.com dashboard which is great! The last step you described – My Site,> Blog Posts then below the image and text I go to Edit and everything is there Images text the lot, I have pressed update – on that very screen, check for these 3 icons at the top right corner:
Click on the one on the right (View Post) and let me know if you see the post. Also, copy the URL to it and paste it here.

AhHa.. Great.. So Im using Google Chrome now and I pressed the view post: it seems to come up fine.
Does that mean its published?

Yup, this post is published (on December 4th actually) :)
You can achieve what you want. The first icon from the screenshot I sent is the Post’s visibility. If you want only your friends to view it, you can password protect it and provide your friends with the password. Only they will be able to see it then.
