I spelled a word wrong in my web address

  the website is suppose to be divineassignment.net, but I accidentally spelled it devine. i did notice that another blog already has the correct spelling. Is there any way I can change to divine_assignment.net or something like that. New to this.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey there!

  Unfortunately, once a domain is registered it’s “permanent” and un-editable. You can certainly register a new domain name for your site, however.

  If you’d like, I can permanently cancel your misspelled domain, and credit your account, so you can register the domain of your choice.

  Just so you know, if you do cancel a domain, this cannot be undone, and you may never be able to regain ownership of devineassignment.net. It sounds like this might not be a problem for you because of the misspelling, but I don’t want to do this without your permission.

  Hey there!

  You will certainly use the exact same log in. You’ll be registering a new custom domain name here:

  https://wordpress.com/domains/add/devineassignment.wordpress.com

  This will “rename” your site divineassignment.net (or something else that you’d prefer, without the wordpress.com in the URL of your site).
