as existing, but I cannot log in nor do I see any wordpress activation email.

I have tried the email addresses that I think I might have used and none show up as the email address.

So I have no verification, don’t know what happened, and I can’t log in.

That blog was created under the account swarmthebanks , which was activated in March.

You’ll need to access the blog under that account.

Oh, I had no idea that accounts could be started under accounts. is DailyPUMA under swarmthebanks as well? Is there a link that shows all of my accounts. (although I think those three are it).

Username accounts are all completely separate. They will be connected with different emails.

raincoaster, is what you are saying in sync with what macmanx wrote?

So what happened was, I tried to log into a wordpress site with my new name, but it only recognized my old name. So all I needed to do was log out of my old name, and log in with my new name.

May I suggest some kind of “hub” feature, where I can designate how many of my names come up so that I can prioritize choose which one I want to use when I am on a site?

I actually don’t believe in multiple personalties on the same site, however, Debt Neutrality is a really big cause of mine and I just formed it recently, so I would rather post with that name in the future.

You can have more than one blog per account – people set up different accounts to keep things separated and not related

I’m still finding this confusing. I logged out, got into Debt neutrality, but don’t see how to change my password.

Can I have a “master name” (my hub name), then my three blog addresses listed below that? Then I can just click on which ever one I want to post as?

And DailyPUMA was started as it’s own identity, can I merge DailyPUMA into this account?

No you cannot have a “master name.” They are totally separate.

If you want one account to deal with all your blogs, then each separate user has to invite that “master name” to be an Admin of its blog.

I really find this infuriating. I have two blog names, SWARMtheBANKS and DebtNEUTRALITY.

I would like to be able to respond with the name DebtNEUTRALITY, but there is NO WAY for me to log in.

When we register a username account here the email address we provide becomes our unique identifier. When we are logged into WordPress.com and register a blog it’s registered to that username account we are logged in under and to the email address which is our unique identifier. We can register as many blogs as we wish and provided we are using the same username account then all the blogs will be registered under it and the associated email account. We can change our “display name” but that display name will appear on all blogs registered under the same username account.

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/change-your-username/#change-display-name-nickname

In order to completely separate the blogs that you do not want to be associated with each other you register another username account using a different email address when you are logged out of WordPress.com. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

Then you add the new username account as an official user of the blog, and designate them (ie. you) as an Admin. Next you transfer one of the blogs to the new username account using this process. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account

How can I get WordPress to resend my activation email for DebtNeutrality?

debtneutrality is not a username, it’s a second blog registered under your swarmthebanks account.

Since it was registered as a blog, it cannot be used as a username.

Why would a blog name not be allowed to be used to respond to other people’s blogs? The idea behind the name is to help identify the position of the person responding.

Otherwise, we can all just respond to other bloggers as a number.

Can I unwind what I have done?

I have three distinct names, each one is vastly different in philosophy from the other two so there would be no “stacking” of different names in an attempt to show support for another name.

DailyPUMA is mad about the 2008 democrat presidential nomination race and the obvious methods used by democrat higher ups to make sure that Barack Obama won the democrat nomination, and believes the country would be lot better off if Hillary Clinton had been elected president.

SWARMtheBANKS is a bank watchdog name.

DebtNeutrality supports a consumer petition to help consumers pay their way out of debt by advocating that those with credit card debt and/or student loan debt be able to pay it down with no more interest rate charges, penalties for fees.

Can my accounts be unwound so that all three are equal?

You can definitely log out of WordPress.com and comment with whichever name you’d like, as long as you don’t use the email address tied to your WordPress.com account.

As for the existing blog, it cannot be turned into a user account.

I use google blogspot for my own blogs specifically because I like to post RSS feeds from other blogs. Ironically, many of those other blogs that I help publicize are, WordPress blogs.

So even though I don’t blog with my wordpress blogs, I think you can value my feedback since I am probably responsible for a million hits to wordpress blogs from my many google blogspot blogs that I have run for the past several years.

So, what can I do to make this SIMPLE. I just want to be able to post using my Debt Neutrality namesake when I would like to. As it stands now, I CANNOT do ANYTHING other than write a blog article.
