I started a selfhosted site getting 0 traffic?

    I have a free wordpress blog that gets a nice amount of traffic but, last week I started a new self hosted site using wordpress and I’m not getting any traffic. I don’t see any search items in my stats and I do ping my posts. Why am I not getting any traffic from search engines, is it because my site is too new? It’s a gaming site with a decent amount of posts, most have been exported from my old blog.

    If you have the same material in two places, search engines would naturally conclude that you’re a spammer who stole the pre-existing material from your old blog. Set it to Private.

    And from now on you must get your answers in the WordPress.ORG forums.
