I still can't add my new phone number to active 2-step authentication

According to The Ministry of Information and Communications , my mobile phone number was changed from 11 digits to 10 digits. So that made +84 169… became +84 39 … since September. The mobile phone company I’m with is Viettel. This is their website : http://viettel.com.vn/en
Last week, the government stopped the services to my old number so I couldn’t receive text messages or phone call if someone called or texted me using my old phone number. So I had to deactive 2-step authentication. I tried to add my new phone number which was changed from 11 digits to 10 digits. But the website still noticed that My number doesn’t valid. It only happened in WordPress. I changed my number in other social pages and it worked well. Please help me. I need to active my 2-step authenticantion againThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Our team is still working on this, yes. For now, if you want 2FA active, you’ll need to use an authenticator app rather than SMS to receive your codes. An Authenticator app is more secure than SMS in any case, so in general it’s the better option to use.
