I stopped an import of my main tumblr and now nothing will import

    It says that clearing the account information will allow me to start over – and while it appeared to stop the import so I could do a different one, the importer now refuses to do anything but tell me that I can only do one import at a time. How do I make it ACTUALLY stop so I can maybe import one of my smaller side-blogs to see if it will do what it claims it will do with something that isn’t 25k+ posts?

    If it takes more than 24 hours for the import to complete, please revert to this thread and let us know.

    Regardless, I’ve gone ahead and tagged this thread for Staff assistance in case they need to clear our the current import.

    Hi there,

    I’ve reset the Tumblr importer for your site so you can try again.

    If it seems to take long, please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself – we’re experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted.

    If the new import doesn’t complete within 24 hours, please let us know.

    … And it’s coming up on 30 hours since attempt number two to import one of my tumblrs and it’s still spinning its wheels and saying “in progress” without any evidence of having made any progress at all.

    Hi there,

    I’ve double checked to confirm your import is indeed still queued and it’s going to start soon. It didn’t cancel. But please do reconnect to your Tumblr account if you’ve disconnected it. And please be patient and keep your connection from Tumblr. Do not try to cancel your import and please give it another 24 hours to complete.
