I suspect my website has been hacked
-
My website on WordPress is listed as https://pacificbiologicaldentistry.wordpress and doesn’t have any of my information in it and also linked is https://rehablabphysio.com.au/ which is not mine or related to me at all!
All contact appears to be going to the other party. How do I get help with this? I need to speak to someone in person or via email to (email visible only to moderators and staff).
Please, I need assistance urgently.

Hello!
Thank you for reaching out. To prevent any confusion, it’s important to distinguish between three different versions of “WordPress”:
- The free, open-source WordPress software that powers your website.
- WordPress.org, the open-source project where you can obtain the software for free to use on your chosen hosting provider.
- WordPress.com, a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software, which is the platform you are currently contacting.
Your site, pacificbiologicaldentistry.com.au, is not hosted here at WordPress.com but instead hosted at SiteGround using the WordPress software. Please note that the login for WordPress.com is separate from the one you use to log into your website.
It also seems that your content is still intact at that URL. If you’re having trouble logging into your site, I recommend reaching out to SiteGround support for assistance. Since they host your site’s files, they are best equipped to help you regain access to your site.
Regarding the site rehablabphysio.com.au, it appears that they added your user account to their site earlier this week. If you no longer wish to be associated with this site, you can remove yourself by following these steps:
- Visit your profile at https://wordpress.com/me.
- On the side, click the “Manage Blogs” option.
- Hover your mouse over the site and click the “Leave Blog” link.
- Read the warning that appears, then confirm your decision. The site will be removed from your account, and you will no longer have access to it.
I hope this clears things up! Please let us know if you have any questions or need further assistance.
