I synced some cats to pages in page menu. But there’s no “previous posts” link

A couple of days ago, the best guy ever showed me how to sync my categories to pages in my page menu, everything was great except my titles to my posts don’t show up, and there’s no “previous post” link at the bottom of the pages to allow viewers to read the previous posts.
How do I fix this?
