  I think I signed up to map a domain cancel. this is a mistake. I do have a hosting domain from go daddy but I don’t know how to make it a blog here. companionsforelders.com http://barbgreenemannandlucy.wordpress.com

  If I understood you correctly, you own the domain companionsforelders.com and want to use it with your free WPcom website. If so, you can map the domain here following these instructions: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  Domain mapping is an annually paid upgrade which you should be able to access from your site’s Dashboard>Store>Store
