I think I'm experiencing a bug.

I’ve had this page I made for a gaming movement called ‘Megaman Legends 3 Support Hub.’ I’ve had it for a little over a year now. And for years, it was set to a static page. So everyone can scroll down, petition for Megaman legends 3 and be on their way. But for whatever reason, out of nowhere, it sets itself back to blog mode. Without my or anybody’s permission. I tried setting it back to static, but it keeps going back to blog mode. Worse yet, the front page ‘Help out Our Cause’ doesn’t even show up as a post to set as a front page anymore when it’s clearly still there! What gives? This is the page by the way.

PS, I do NOT wanna pay premium to set it back.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Looks like the old “you have nit published any posts yet” glitch when I friggin have.

This should be my home page as it had been, but whenever I go to set the page back to static, it doesn’t show up as a page I can set to front page. https://mml3supporthub.wordpress.com/2015/03/10/gmotm

I even tried making a copy of the page, but for whatever reason, whenever I try to set it back as a static page, it keeps only recognizing every post the page has BUT “Help Out Our Cause!” as an option for front page, when “Help Out Our Cause!” has been the front page since the very goddamn inception. And if I delete a page, I get the old “you haven’t made a post yet” glitch I thought WordPress fixed! This is frustrating.

And then whenever that glitch happens, my page keeps trying to comment on itself, commenting links to the other posts of the page. This makes no blithering sense! What’s going on here?

  • Hi @handlebarorionx , would you be willing to try a few troubleshooting steps?

    – Temporarily reduce permissions for the other site admins. You can set them to Editor or Author or whatever works best.

    – Change your password and ensure no one else has it.

Once you’ve done those two things so that we can eliminate the possibility of someone else changing that setting, please let me know whether the problem is duplicated again.
