i think i'm getting fake followers. how can i stop this?

    i am getting followed by ‘people’ with wordpress blogs that have nonsensical names, and look fake.

    i think they’re probably designed to get me looking at their blogs and clicking on links.

    i also got a spike in visits that didn’t add up with the visits/ links/sources stats provided by WP – more fake followers have appeared since then.

    am i right? if so, what can i do to when this happens and what can i do to stop this?

    We cannot delete followers from our public blogs. There is nothing we can do to stop this or to stop the fake like button clickers who have the same motives.
