I think Ive set up two names and not sure how to rectify this

    Hi there, today I attempted creating a wordpress blog, with free domain name. At first my name came up with dot com attached to the end (danielletriantafilloudotcom.wordpress.com) and so I deleted this page. I tried again but couldn’t get what I wanted which is danielletriantafillou.wordpress.com, instead I managed to set up two different pages: danielletriantafillousite.wordpress.com, and danielletriantafilloublog.wordpress.com (which I prefer of the two).
    SO…basically I would like to know if I can get my name only, if not, how do I choose to keep the ‘blog’ option, and delete the ‘site’ option? I want to clarify this before I start uploading images in case Im doing it to the wrong page!

    WordPress.com suggested danielletriantafilloudotcom.wordpress.com because danielletriantafillou.wordpress.com is reserved for the user account danielletriantafillou.

    WordPress.com reserves the blog addresses corresponding to account names. Say for e.g. If my account name I use to login to WordPress.com is xyzabc, then xyzabc.wordpress.com will be reserved for me so others can’t claim that address.
    This is what the following message means when you try to access danielletriantafillou.wordpress.com:

    The address danielletriantafillou.wordpress.com cannot be registered. Sorry, that site is reserved! But you can sign up and choose another one.

    So unfortunately you can’t get your name only if you account name that you use to log into WordPress.com is not danielletriantafillou.

    Once you delete a site, nobody, including you, will be able to reclaim the site address just in case you change your mind. You don’t have to delete the site option. I suggest you mark it private and keep blogging in blog option.

    You can make a site private by selecting the third visibility option at https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/#site-visibility-options so nobody can access it.
