i think my blog was hacked

i haven’t posted on my blog since 2010, however, i do pay godaddy to keep it live. i recently have decided to blog again and have found that my computer is now blocking my blog page, with the message that there has been a ‘web attack, malicious script redirection 13.’ my husband, who uses a different computer security system, got the same message. what do i do?

Can you verify that the site you need help with is http://love2eatinpa.wordpress.com/? It’s loading fine for me, with no security error. WordPress.com sites are monitored for security breaches and kept well-protected.

themagicrobot, i know this sounds dumb, but i don’t know the technical stuff. wordpress is, i guess, the platform, but i bought/still pay godaddy for the domain. i did contact godaddy first. they are the ones who told me i was hacked and that for $XX they could fix it for me and protect it for X years. needless to say, my first choice wasn’t to bite on their package and to see if this was possibly a wordpress issue.

OK, got it. http://confessionsofacompulsiveeater.com/ is a WordPress.org site, which is a version of WordPress that you download and install on a commercial host (like GoDaddy).
This forum is for WordPress.com, which is a version of WordPress that is managed and hosted here at WordPress.com.
To get help with your self-hosted site, you can try the WordPress.org forums at https://wordpress.org/support/.
If your site has been attacked with a malicious script, you could go the route of letting GoDaddy take care of it or hiring a WordPress professional web developer to clean and harden your site files.
