I think my site has been hacked

  Hello. I believe my business website http://www.ingenuityadvisory.com on WordPress has been hacked and WordPress is no longer acknowledging my username or password. My site is being hosted by GoDaddy but I’m unable to change my content. I’m not sure what I should do but would like your guidance to restore my access immediately.

  Hi,

  It appears that your website uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, which is what this forum is designed to help with. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  You may be able to find help here: https://wordpress.org/support/ or alternatively contact your hosting provider. Your hosting provider is probably the best bet for this case. Once you reclaim access, be sure to set up a strong password and use 2FA if possible too.
