I thoght I was creating a new page

  I thougth I was creating a new page, but it looks like I have just posted more info at the top
  of my main page. How do I divide the two without destroying either?

  Are you referring to one of your posts?

  Keep in mind that there are two different kinds of content types: posts and pages.

  To create a new page, visit Pages -> Add New in your dashboard.
