I thought my posts would be archived after 7 days…some say 1 week…will they

  I thought my posts would be archived after 7 days…some say 1 week…will they be archived tomorrow?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’m not sure I understand what you are asking. When you say “archived” what are you expecting to happen?

  That it will go off the front page and into the category (it’s called archive and whatever the category name is)

  Now I understand!

  So, that is typically dictated by the number of posts on your front page, not by the particular date on each post. You can change the number of posts on your front page by logging into your WordPress.com site’s dashboard and going to Settings–> Reading and changing the “Blog pages show at most” setting. Currently you have it set at 10 posts.

  I have about 20 posts now and desperately need to archive the older posts…can’t find the setting you mentioned.

  What is block expiration limit under settings…poll subset…It currently says ‘never’ but I could change it to ‘1 week’…would that archive the posts that are 1 week old???

Your original post says susannephudson, but now you are asking about 4thenextgeneration.   sorry…its 4thenextgeneration.com. I am now paying someone at an online company to fix it but he’s not having much luck…can I get back to you tomorrow? They have tons of clients and I get a bit of time…10 hours later..crazy!

  I’m sorry, but I need to clarify something again. Is it 4thenextgeneration.com or 4thenextgeneration.wordpress.com? You have again mentioned two different URL’s.

  4thenextgeneration.wordpress.com I can help you with. 4thenextgeneration.com does not appear to be a WordPress.com site and I will be unable to assist you with it because of that.
