I thought that I had registered my custom domain, but it doesn't show up.
-
I just registered empowermentsolutionsconsulting.com, but it doesn’t seem to have registered. Is it because I have a free trial or because I haven’t added any content yet? I’m new here and still trying to figure it out. I had thought that it would cost $18 to register that domain name but I never actually saw when or how that gets paid. I would like to have the “wordpress” part taken out of the domain name when it launches.

Hi Dan,
It looks like you started a Free Trial of our Premium Plan, but have not registered a domain. Premium plans cost $99 annually and include a free domain registration among many other features.
It sounds like that’s not what you wanted, so I’ve removed that Free Trial so you won’t be charged the $99 in two weeks unexpectedly. If I was wrong, you begin that free trial again here:
To register the domain only, it costs $18 annually and that first payment is immediate. Visit this page:
Then click “Register a New Domain” and enter in empowermentsolutionsconsulting.com on the next step. You’ll be guided through our checkout.
Let me know if you have more questions. :)

So if I were to pay for the premium plan, that would include the registered domain? Or in other words, because it was a free-trial it didn’t show up but upon paying the $99 it would automatically register empowermentconsultingsolutions.com?

The $99 for Premium plan includes a domain registration. If you begin a Free Trial of the Premium plan, registered a domain name, then attempt to end the Free Trial — you’ll be asked to pay for the Domain Registration before the trial can be ended.
You’ll still need to go through the “Register a New Domain” process even after signing up for Premium, but upon checkout the Premium plan will provide the credits for the domain registration.
