Ok, a couple of days ago, I purchased domain 1685.business from http://www.123-reg.co.uk – I thought that I’d use wordpress and get it hosted by someone. I answered the questions when registering and now, I have no idea about where I am.
I want my website to be called 1685.business and anyone typing that to land at my site.
I want my profile to show that we are 1685.business and that I, the writer am Paula LeeThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yikes! This is one of those situations where I blanked out. Sorry …There is no domain mapping upgrade for 1685.business and if the domain extension you want to use is not available for registration on WordPress.com, you can register elsewhere and add it to your WordPress.com blog using Domain Mapping.
In cases where the available extensions are not listed here https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#available-domains we Volunteers have to tag the thread for Staff so they can add a zone record or the mapping of the domain will not succeed.

Sometimes certain TLDs require that we add a zone record for the domain before they are able to point the name servers to us, but it’s a pretty rare issue currently.
Let’s wait for @paula1685 inputs.
