I too am wondering about my avatar

  To be specific, I guess what I tried to upload was a blavatar. I made the change by clicking “settings” and I guess I was under “general.” From what I can tell, that’s the blavatar uploader. Is there somewhere else to change my avitar? What I still see everywhere I look is the pic with all the blue in it. I uploaded a more recent picture in which I’m wearing a red shirt/red tie and black jacket. That picture doesn’t show up anywhere. (I made the change on April 12th.)

  Some users are saying they first removed their old avatar, signed out, back in, and then uploaded a new one. Is all that really necessary?

  The blavatar is an avatar for your BLOG; you upload that on the Settings General page. Your own personal avatar you would upload under Users->My Profile. You do not need to do all of that.

  Somehow, I don’t have an option/field to upload/set my profile picture. Why?

  Thanks Raincoaster, that’s what I needed was User/Profile and not Settings.
