    I transferred this domain from godaddy to WordPress. Why isn’t it showing up on my domain list as a domain that I own?

    Hi there!

    I’m showing you purchased WordPress.com Premium and started a domain transfer for that domain on March 21, 2023. You then requested a cancellation and refund of that plan on March 26, 2023, which also cancelled the domain transfer.

    As it stands currently, your domain is still registered with GoDaddy since you had not turned off transfer protection on GoDaddy’s end as we indicated in your previous support thread from a week ago, so the transfer never started.

    If you still want to transfer your domain here, while you can do so without a plan, to have your domain be your primary domain, you need a paid plan. Otherwise, your domain will redirect to your free *.wordpress.com URL. A yearly plan does include a first-year free domain credit, which can be used for a transfer – you do need to keep the yearly plan in place for the full term of the plan for it to be free.
