I tried cancelling my subscription

    Hi there,

    I tried cancelling my subscription a couple weeks ago and i remembered I was notified that i wouldn’t be charged. But i just received notification that I was still charged and that my subscription had not been cancelled.

    I have not done anything at all to my site since i signed up, and perhaps I made a mistake.

    Is there any way you could assist me in cancelling my subscription from earlier please and refund me the account? I was hoping to sign up a cheaper plan.

    If there is anything you can help me with at all I would be truly grateful.

    I can see that you upgraded on 06-22-2023, then canceled and requested a refund about 30 minutes after upgrading. Because the cancelation happened so closely after the original purchase, the refund was issued before we received the funds from your bank. In cases like this, your institution will instead reverse the initial charge, and it will simply disappear from your statement rather than issue a line-item refund.

    Essentially there was not enough time for us to collect payment before you canceled so we have nothing on our end to refund. Your bank should be able to confirm this for you, so please check with them. I confirm we show the transaction as canceled and refunded on our end as you can see here: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing/
